November 15, 2011 - Churchville Firefighters respond mutual aid to Spencerport for the report of a 2 car MVA, 1 car overturned with a person trapped.


October 6, 2011 - The Churchville Fire Dept. is proud to announce that Chief Jim Kurycki has recieved the Monroe County Fire Safety Educator of the Year Award. It has always been a top priority of Jim's to educate the public on fire safety and awarness. If you have ever been to a Churchville Fire Dept. open house, the Churchville-Chili DWI Simulation, or any other Churchville Fire public event, you have probably seen and heard Jim talking to a crowd of people about the importance of fire safety. We could not think of a more deserving person for this award, and we are very proud of him. Congratulations Jim! Below are a couple of pictures of Jim recieving the award.


June 20, 2011 - Churchville firefighters went to the Black Creek boat launch to practice water rescue skills. Thanks to Fred Lennon for the pictures.










June 6, 2011 - Churchville firefighters along with Engine 424, Rescue 428, and Squad 426 went to the Public Safety Training Center to practice car fires and propane fires.










May 30, 2011 - Churchville firefighters along with Engine 423 and Ambulance 429 respond to Chili Riga Center Road for the 1 car MVA, vehicle roll-over.




April 12, 2011- squad 426 requested for manpower to Lakeshore for a large brush fire.

February 21, 2011 - Churchville firefighters respond mutual aid to Bergen for the confirmed barn fire. Churchville sent Engine 424, Rescue 428, and Tanker 427. Upon arrival the barn was fully involved.
